Interested applicants varied from electrical engineers, to gas industry professionals, and from surgeons to dentists in addition to school teachers and bankers. To progress in their managerial career ladder or to have a complete career change, the open day offered a very valuable opportunity for those who joined to learn more about the MBA at the UAE University. They met the CBE Dean, Director of the MBA Program, CBE Associate Dean and the Academic Advisor for the MBA. In addition to the MBA Students and Alumni, in a very friendly yet professional atmosphere.
Candidates listened to presentations and they all had the opportunity to ask questions to the management, staff and to current and past students. Alumni were available at hand to tell of their positive experience at the UAEU MBA and how it enhanced their careers by providing them with the necessary skills they needed to step further into senior management either within their own organizations or with new ones.
Candidates from different nationalities like UAE, India, Syria, Egypt, Liberia, Africa, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine and Bahrain met in a very friendly environment and get engaged with discussions about the MBA World over a light lunch.
The MBA Management distributed the Pink Ribbon to the female participants to reinforce the importance of the Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign during October and November in Abu Dhabi. The MBA Open Day started at 11am and lasted till 7 pm on Thursday November 2, 2006 at the MBA Office in the Abu Dhabi Chamber Of Commerce Tower in Abu Dhabi.
UAE University College of Business and Economics (CBE) holds open day
The first open day for the MBA Program of the College of Business and Economics (CBE) at the UAE University was a great success with over 100 potential candidates joining during the day.
