DCCI receives top business figures from Saudi Arabia

The delegation will be received by H.E. Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, DCCI Chairman, along with some members of the Board, DCCI Director General, heads of DCCI departments and a number of businessmen from Dubai.

The Saudi delegation will be headed by H.E. Abdul Rahman Rashid Al Rashid, Chairman of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and more than 50 Saudi businessmen, investors and representatives of different commercial and industrial establishments and companies in sectors of construction and contracting, manufacturing, hotels and tourism, communications, auto parts and accessories and exhibitions organization.

The Saudi trade delegation visit aims at discussing the ways of enhancing the bilateral economic cooperation between Dubai and Saudi Arabia. The delegate will have the chance to be introduced to the investment opportunities available in Dubai through two presentations to be conducted during the visit, as well as the facilities and incentives offered by Dubai Government to Saudi investors in Dubai.

Dubai businessmen will have a good opportunity to exchange ideas and issues of mutual concern with their counterparts from Saudi Arabia and discuss the possibility for Saudi businessmen to establish direct or joint investments in Dubai which would help enhance the bilateral trade ties between the two business communities.

H.E. Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, DCCI Chairman, will deliver a welcoming speech in which he will speak about the aspects of economic development in Dubai and the key role of the DCCI in highlighting this development through providing the emirate's economic activities with the best value-added services and incentives to enhance their trade.

The speech will be followed by some words by H.E. Abdul Rahman Rashid Al Rashid, Chairman of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Saudi Arabia, in which he will stress the importance of supporting the bilateral trade relations between Saudi Arabia and Dubai and those between the business communities in both countries.

The DCCI will also conduct a presentation on the most attractive business investment opportunities in Dubai, followed by a documentary film about the DCCI and its activities, services and initiatives to the business community in Dubai.

The Saudi delegation will hold mutual business meetings with the DCCI members and Dubai businessmen and discuss the possibility of setting up direct and joint ventures.

The DCCI calls upon all businessmen, traders, exporters and investors in Dubai to attend this meeting to help discuss business related issues with their counterparts from Saudi Arabia.
