Al Ruwad and Expo Centre Sharjah join hands to assist SMEs established by UAE nationals

A memorandum of understanding (MOU) to this effect was signed by Mr. Saif Al Midfa, Director General, Expo Centre Sharjah, and Mr. Abdul Aziz Taryam, Chief Executive Officer, Al Ruwad establishment, on Sunday, December 17, 2006, at the Al Ruwad office in Sharjah.

Al Ruwad Establishment promotes and supports individual organizations and small and medium companies established by UAE nationals. It creates a positive climate for creative projects implemented by individuals and groups, through advising and guiding them in the right direction.

The organization functions to motivate UAE locals to venture into diverse economic investment fields and participate in development policies that impact their business objectives. Al Ruwad Establishment also encourages research and development by establishing support packages for scientific research and technical development. It provides all tools and consultation for the attainment of its vision towards a promising economic environment

"Expo Centre Sharjah is extremely proud to enter in to this agreement with the Al Ruwad Establishment," said Mr. Saif Al Midfa after the signing ceremony.

"Under the guidance and as per the vision of H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, Supreme Council Member & Ruler of Sharjah, Expo Centre Sharjah will contribute in every way possible for the social and economic development of UAE's youth. The agreement is a reflection of the organisation's commitment towards providing assistance in nurturing high quality human resources from among nationals for meeting the country's future economic requirements," he said.
