The signing ceremony took place at Sheraton Amman Hotels and was attended by Mr. Muhanad Al Turk, General Manager of Coca Cola Jordan and Engineer Yaser Al Manaseer, General Manager of JomoGAS.
The agreement gives Coca-Cola Bottling the right to supply cold beverage products in JomoGAS stations, while JomoGAS will provide Coca Cola properties with oil. This agreement is part of Coca Cola’s aspirations to enhance relations with the private sector as well as establishing diverse partnerships with local entities.
“We are glad to sign a cooperation agreement with JomoGAS, this is good for Coca Cola, but it is also good for the community by extending the services of JomoGAS stations,” said Muhanad al Turk, General Manager of Coca Cola Jordan.
From his side Mr. Yaser Al Manaseer assured the continuance pursuit for the group to develop its futuristic plans by building over 100 new gas stations all over Jordan by the year 2015, all within the same creative, distinguished from different than any other stations in Jordan.
The agreement coincides with the launch of The Coca Cola Side of Life, a new marketing campaign that is being launched in the Middle East this month. This campaign calls on people to think positively and enjoy life.
With The Coca-Cola Side of Life creative strategy, the company is using its global resources to drive a multi-media, multi-cultural platform in markets across the world. Because Coca-Cola is a global brand with local connections and meanings, The Coca-Cola Side of Life offers each country an opportunity to interpret their own moments of happiness and the brand’s role in those.
Agreement of cooperation between Coca Cola and JomoGAS
Coca Cola Bottling of Jordan announced on December 18, 2006 that it has signed an agreement of cooperation with JomoGAS (part of Eng. Ziad Al Manaseer group).
