ARAMEX Ground Operations Forum opens up prospect of a range of new services

The meeting in Amman, Jordan, has seen 50 ground operations leaders gather from across the globe in a move which is expected to lead to a range of new services and technical applications from the logistics leader.

ARAMEX's ground operations technologies are the backbone of its express, domestic and land freight services. The forum focus on raising freight and transportation standards should have a knock-on effect throughout the industry in the GCC and Levant.

Iyad Kamal, ARAMEX's Vice President for Logistics and Ground Services, said: "The forum has a key role to play in moving the regional freight and transportation sector to the next stage. A key session during the summit has been devoted to a review of the technologies currently deployed by ARAMEX, such as its Ground Courier Services scanners and new GPS vehicle tracking system. The review is expected to be the catalyst for further advances in the technology and applications that have had such an impact on the portfolio of services the company offers to its individual and corporate customers.
