Zenny Hirji from the Children's Hope Foundation, said: "Kind gestures have long echoes - this is our foundation's motto, which worked both ways for us this year. SWISS continues to provide better prizes for our annual event and you cannot surpass a stay in St. Mortiz. Also, we were very fortunate to have the generous Mr. Aslam bid the highest amount."
SWISS continues to support SOS Children's Villages International, which provides homes for up to 50,000 underprivileged children around the world.
In addition, thanks to the Swiss Staff Foundation for children in need and the proceeds from a SWISS staff Christmas party held last year, the school in the small Chinese village of Kenjia, Quinghai Province was reconstructed. The Swiss Staff Foundation for children in need is committed to providing underprivileged children with long-term support and care.
"SWISS is always ready to support charitable causes that have a strong purpose," added Hazel Saldanha, SWISS' Marketing Communications and Customer Relations Manager for the UAE and Gulf. "It comes from our mission to support the local markets in which operate."
