- United Arab Emirates: Wednesday, December 20 - 2006 at 15:17
- PRESS RELEASE
As part of its continued efforts to support charitable causes in the UAE, Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) joined hands with the Children's Hope Foundation (CHF) by providing the star prize for a raffle held in aid of the many charities supported by CHF.
SWISS continues to support SOS Children's Villages International, which provides homes for up to 50,000 underprivileged children around the world.
In addition, thanks to the Swiss Staff Foundation for children in need and the proceeds from a SWISS staff Christmas party held last year, the school in the small Chinese village of Kenjia, Quinghai Province was reconstructed. The Swiss Staff Foundation for children in need is committed to providing underprivileged children with long-term support and care.
"SWISS is always ready to support charitable causes that have a strong purpose," added Hazel Saldanha, SWISS' Marketing Communications and Customer Relations Manager for the UAE and Gulf. "It comes from our mission to support the local markets in which operate."
