Arab International Businesswomen conference delegates visit Shindagha
- United Arab Emirates: Sunday, October 06 - 2002 at 13:05
- PRESS RELEASE
About 200 foreign and Arab delegates attending the Arab Business Women Conference in Dubai, recently visited the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) Shindagha heritage sites.
He stated that the idea of introducing the visiting group to Dubai's heritage site was to stress that the emirate is not only recognised for its business potential but is also rich in history and tradition. "The group was fascinated by our heritage and our culture impressed them tremendously," he added.
Mr. bin Beyat opined that familarisation trips of these kinds also play a prominent part in promoting the destination. "The delegates attending the seminar hold key positions in both public and private sectors in their respective countries. Once impressed with the destination, back home these decision makers can recommend Dubai as both tourism as well as incentive destination to many," said Mr. bin Beyat.
