Sahara Centre will give away 400,000 Dhs by the end of the promotion.

Recognising that "cash is king" for many people, Sahara Centre is offering Dhs 75,000 each week for 4 weeks. 3 lucky winners will get Dhs 25,000 from the weekly raffle draws making it possible for 12 people to win. Sahara Centre is doubling people's chances to win this year by also giving away a grand cash prize of Dhs 100,000 for the shopper who spends the most money in the mall during the promotion.

Sahara Centre Marketing Manager Rima Chammas says the cash draws will only be a part of the Sharjah Spring Promotion package, in keeping with the mall's philosophy of providing a complete shopping and entertainment experience.

Accordingly, Sahara Centre has arranged an innovative fashion style competition that will engage three mall retailers as well as shoppers over a 40-day period. The competition, for the Best Fashion Display Showcase, will see the selected retailers each showcase their fashion products on mannequins in the mall over 10 days, for judging by a representative from a well known fashion/lifestyle magazine.

At the same time, members of the public will be invited to "dress" the mannequins, with the retailers choosing the winning public entry. The public winners will receive vouchers worth Dhs 5,000 and the runners up will get consolation prizes.

To keep the children amused while their parents check out all the Spring Promotion bargains, Sahara Centre has organised the "Sahara Circus", a special artistic show that involves 14 child performers, two magicians, three animators and guitarists.

As part of the circus theme, workshops have been organised in which children (aged 7-12) can learn how to juggle and do magic tricks, while younger children (3-7) will have drawing and face painting opportunities.
