ITQAN enables eTQM to upgrade to Microsoft Vista/Office/SPS 2007

ITQAN, the UAE-leading provider of system integration solutions has once again been acknowledged for their industry-frontline stature, being awarded three major projects by eTQM College, Dubai.

The projects involve enhancing and upgrading their current portal to SPS2007, developing the new portal for students based on SPS2007 and migrating their Windows/Office to the new Windows Vista/Office 2007 and CMS 2002 to the new SPS2007. The contract was signed on Sunday 19 December.

Office Share Point Server 2007 is an integrated suite of server applications to improve organizational effectiveness by providing comprehensive control over the entire electronic content, accelerating shared business processes and facilitating better-informed decisions and information-sharing across boundaries.

It provides comprehensive control over the storage, security, distribution, reuse and management of documents and other electronic content such as web pages, PDF files and email messages. It enables organizations by offering a single integrated platform to manage intranet, extranet and Internet applications across the enterprise with a simple, familiar and consistent use experience.

It further boosts employee efficiency and productivity by simplifying organization-wide access to structured and unstructured information across disparate systems, connecting information sources and accelerating business processes and controlling the electronic forms environment.

The e-TQM College provides learning opportunities to all those individuals aspiring to specialize in quality management and to those associated with its implementation and management. It was launched with the aim of encouraging the interest, uptake and application of TQM thinking in the Arab World through, innovative, affordable and accessible means.
