Rezidor strengthens Middle East Business Development team

Lebanese national, Karazi, joins Rezidor from HSBC Bank Middle East where she held the position of Senior Officer, I.T. She is a graduate from the American University Beirut in Economics and Finance.

"Nisrine will play an important role in developing our core Radisson SAS brand and implement our multi-brand expansion plans across the region," said Shawki Khairallah, Regional Director Business Development.

Rouverand, a French national, spent over four years with the Hyatt Group heading the renovation program of the Hyatt Regency Dubai. Before moving to Dubai in 2001, he spent five years in Egypt working for Berghem International assisting hotel owners on technical requirements.

He is a graduate from the Lausanne Hotel School, Switzerland and speaks French, English, Italian, Spanish and basic Arabic.

"It is imperative that technical services and business development work together from the very beginning on projects starting with feasibility studies. This will enable them to influence the design process to optimise operational function, quality and brand standards," explained David Barbour, Regional Director Design & Technical Services.

Rezidor will open 12 properties by the end of 2009 in the region. The new openings will help the company's aim to expand its portfolio of five brands; Radisson SAS Hotels & Resorts, Park Inn, Country Inn and Suites, Regent and Hotel Missoni.
