New CEO for Arabian Network Information Services

Arabian Network Information Services (anis), subsidiary of the Batelco Group, has appointed Nader Rajab as its new Chief Executive Officer with effect from 1st January.

Mr. Rajab is a proven ICT professional and a familiar name in the ICT industry in Bahrain. He brings to anis more than 15 years experience in the field of ICT consulting, ICT sales & marketing and ICT strategic planning, having held a number of senior leadership positions in various local and regional companies, including International Information Technology (IIT) and Orbit Communications Company.

During his career, Mr. Rajab delivered large scale ICT projects for government and private sectors, managed a KPI driven ICT company, built global ICT alliances, developed business models for new ICT offerings and identified ICT opportunities in various territories of the Middle East.

"Nader is a technology and business oriented professional with sound knowledge in the regional & international ICT markets and possesses a solid understanding of the issues facing the ICT industry today," said anis Chairman, Yaqoob Alawadhi.

"We welcome him to the ranks of anis and look forward to building on our success with his strong support during the coming year."
