Mall of the Emirates plans a plethora of activities to entertain and mesmerise visitors during DSF

Mall of the Emirates, the world's first shopping resort is gearing up to host the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) for the first time since the opening of the mall.

The mall will host entertainment from different regions of the globe including India, the Far East, Africa, the Americas, Europe and the Middle East as well as a major sales promotion.

Acrobats from Asia, flamenco dancers from Spain, Bollywood performers from India and sword dancers from the UAE will all be performing live on the World Stage situated in the Galleria area of Mall of the Emirates.

"The majority of Mall of the Emirates' 440 retailers will go on sale during the 45 day festival offering customers competitive discounts. Simultaneously the mall will also run a "shop-and-win" promotion where for every AED 350 spent, customers will receive a coupon to enter the draw for a once in a lifetime prize," said Fuad Sharaf, General Manager Mall of the Emirates.

The grand prize winner will walk away with a 2 bedroom, luxury apartment worth AED 2.4 million. The 1400 ft. property developed by leading property developer DAMAC is situated on the 22nd floor of the Ocean Heights in the Marina.

In addition, DAMAC are offering a free car to everyone that purchases a property during the DSF period. They will also erect a major display of their current portfolio in the Galleria of the mall.

"During the 45 day festival, shoppers visiting the mall will catch a world of entertainment that will take them across five continents. Daily events will be hosted on the World Stage in the Galleria - as well as roaming artists throughout the mall who will entertain visitors. Shows will start at 5pm each day and visitors can expect to see up to three different acts each evening," explained Sharaf.

Middle East & Arabia (December 20 - December 28) - The DSF festivities will kick-start with traditional dance and music from around the region, Mall of the Emirates will host sword dancing, Skirt dancing and live Moroccan music.

Asia- Pacific (December 29 - January 4) - a diverse range of breathtaking Asian entertainment will take you into the New Year including the Ling Chinese Troupe acrobats and jugglers.

Europe (January 5 to January 12) - Mall of the Emirates presents world champion flamenco dancers and musicians and historical Russian entertainers.

India (Jan 29 - February 3) - let the colour-filled world of Indian entertainment capture your imagination, and be entranced by the master of the sitar and Hindustani classical music Baloji Shrivastav as well as witnessing the Bollywood Group that will perform classic songs and routines from Indian cinema.
