- PRESS RELEASE
Global digital leader LG Electronics has added extra colour to this year's Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) by offering its customers the opportunity to make their dreams come true.
Each week during the promotion, one lucky couple will have the opportunity to win a Caribbean holiday and a free full-board tour to see live cricket action when the 2007 Cricket World Cup Super 8 Match takes place in the West Indies in March 2007. LG Electronics is an Official Global Partner of the World Cup.
"We are delighted to be a part of the region's biggest shopping extravaganza," explained Mr. C. H. Lee, President of LG Gulf FZE. "This time round, we have made it extra special by combining the thrill of the Cricket World Cup and the Dubai Shopping Festival to reward our loyal shoppers."
The DSF promotion will cover the bestselling Time Machine Plasma TV, DVD home theatres, MP3 players and car navigation systems. The first draw will take place on January 10 while the mega draw will be held on February 10.
LG will also offer online activities to make shopping more fun at this year's Dubai Shopping Festival. LG launched the micro-site www.lge.com/timemachine for the popular Time Machine TV last October.
Site visitors can play a themed cricket game to download coupons, which can be exchanged for gifts at the UAE outlets of LG distributor Al Sayegh Brothers.
