Centile expands SAMENA's membership base

SAMENA Telecommunications Council, the region's premier non-profit telecoms association, announced that Centile, one of the leading enablers of next-generation SIP-based services for converged Fixed-Mobile and multimedia applications, is now a SAMENA Member.

Centile has agreed to support the Council's goal of creating an open and collaboration-driven front, encompassing a multi-faceted approach to introduce innovations in telecoms expansion efforts throughout the SAMENA region.

Mr. Ahmed Bouna, Centile's EMEA Sales Director, said "Joining SAMENA is strategically sound for us. We develop VoIP applications for converged fixed and mobile services, and thoroughly understand the telecoms convergence that is slowly catching up, and which the operators need to embrace. As a VoIP applications software vendor, Centile is honored to work very closely with SAMENA, to be part of its business-focused strides to help us reach a new level of profitability. We will be sharing all our VoIP expertise with SAMENA's members".

SAMENA's executive team welcomes on board Mr. Ahmed Bouna, Centile's primary link to SAMENA, and anticipates a long, mutually beneficial relationship with Centile.

The new SAMENA Member will be exhibiting its latest consumer and enterprise-based telecoms solutions at SAMENA's upcoming corporate-level event, Beyond Connectivity. The event will be held between January 21 and 23, 2007 in Dubai.
