Commenting on the promotional activities for DSF, Stephen Coakley, Marketing Communications Manager for Visa International in the Middle East commented, "This promotion, as with Visa's other activities and promotions throughout the year, is designed to introduce shoppers to the practicality and convenience of using Visa credit and Visa Electron debit cards instead of cash for everyday purchases".
Coakley also spoke about safety and the ease of using Visa Cards stating,

During the six-week Visa DSF promotion, cardholders will have the opportunity to win these unique gem necklaces, inspired by the film, Eragon. There are four Necklaces up for grabs, which have been individually designed and contain precious white diamonds and blue topaz with white gold. The grand prize is worth a sizable DHS 275,000 and with three lucky runner-up prizes worth AED 75,000.
Visa is also set to captivate both residents and visitors with its exciting activities around the epic adventures of the film, Eragon. Selected malls in Dubai have been chosen to offer in-mall instant giveaways. Visit the dragon-shaped Visa/ Eragon kiosks located at selected malls in the Emirate, and you can win instant Visa-Eragon branded gifts. Cardholders will also be able to compete for prizes through extensive radio, SMS and online competitions.
