Visa restrictions to hit tourism

Restrictions on visit visas could affect tourism in the UAE, according to industry executives cited by Gulf News. As reported earlier, the UAE government is reviewing its policy on issuing visas on arrival to visitors of some foreign countries that do not have reciprocal arrangements for UAE nationals. The visa-on-arrival policy, available to citizens of around 34 countries, has helped Dubai's tourism industry, said one hotel manager.
