Pipeline explosion kills hundreds

As many as 260 people have been killed in an oil pipeline explosion in Nigeria, news agencies reported. The explosion happened as hundreds of people were taking fuel from a pipeline in Lagos that had been broken by thieves. Thousands have previously died in similar circumstances.
