Emirates rewarded leading agents from Dubai, Sharjah, and Northern Emirates with a spectacular awards presentation and dinner event at the Park Hyatt, Dubai.
One of the most looked-forward-to events in the local travel industry calendar, the Emirates' awards night was presided over by Hamad Obaidalla, Emirates' Senior Vice President Commercial Operations, Gulf, Middle East & Iran and Mohan Chandra, Emirates' Manager Dubai and Northern Emirates.
In his welcome address, Hamad thanked the travel community for their exceptional support, and pledged to continue to explore ways of strengthening Emirates' relationship with the trade.
"At Emirates, we have always considered travel agents to be important partners and allies. With the community's significant contribution, Emirates' business has grown by leaps and bounds," he said.
Handsome trophies and certificates were presented to over 20 winning agents.
The recipients of the Phenomenal Contribution awards from Emirates were DNATA and Sharjah National Travel and Tourist Agency.
Airlink International UAE; Kanoo Travels; MMI Travels; Thomas Cook Al Rostamani; Al Tayer Travel Agency; Al Rais Travel & Shipping Agencies; Orient Travel & Tourism Agency; Sharaf Travel; Trans Arabian Sea Air Travel; Al Futtaim Travel Company; Orient Travel & Touring agency; DNATA; Al Faisal Travel Agency; Arabian Air Travel Agency; Sky Line Travel Tourism & Shipping were adjudged Top Agents.
Travel Center from Ajman; Umm Al Qiwain Travel Agency; and Omest Travels of Ras Al Khaimah were recognised for their Continued Support.
