This is the region's first such implementation using the latest technology and Fujitsu Services, a major international enterprise partner of Fujitsu Siemens Computers, is providing its UAE-based expertise and certified skills to successfully integrate Oracle 10g Release 2, Veritas Storage Foundation 4.1 MP1 and Solaris 10, to boost NBAD's core banking system.

NBAD selected PRIMEPOWER 900 for its scaleable performance and flexibility in consolidating different servers and applications onto a central high-performance system.

Fujitsu Services has an established relationship with NBAD having previously supplied the bank with Fujitsu Siemens Computers' Blade servers, standard Fujitsu Siemens Computers Primergy Intel and Primepower UNIX Servers.
