International Hospital Federation, e-TQM College and "Health Management" sign (MoU) to prepare for a Masters Program in Health Management for members of the Federation

International Hospital Federation IHF and "Health Management", Member of INDEX Holding have signed a memorandum of understanding with the Electronic Total Quality Management College "e-TQM College", the leading educational institute in total quality management in Dubai.
The memorandum consists of preparing educational programmes in Health Management for the Directors, Managers, Physicians, Nurses, Technical and other members of health sector to obtain a Diploma in Health Management and this will allow them to enrol in the Masters Program for Health Management.
It is worth mentioning that the International Hospital Federation, which represents over 150 countries and 92,000 hospital and international health organisation has moved this educational programme from Birmingham in the United Kingdom to Dubai. This step is considered vital for Dubai since the International Hospital Federation has decided to move the program for the first time after being held for 20 years in the United Kingdom to Dubai.
"Health Management" Member of INDEX Holding has signed this memorandum in line with its strategy to develop expertise and competencies of health care professionals in health management in addition to developing cooperation between the International Hospital Federation and e-TQM College in different training and educational programs in health.
Dr. Mansoor Al Awr Vice President of the e-TQM College said that the MoU with the International Hospital Federation is a great step that will contribute to the achievement of the Mission Statement and Objectives set for the Centre for Excellence in Healthcare in the College, which is seeking to become the pioneering centre for quality and excellence in healthcare in the Arab World by providing information and solutions on quality and best practices in healthcare to increase skills and efficiency in this field.
Commenting on the MoU, Mr Abdul Salam Al Madani, Member of Governing Council and IHF Representative in Middle East and North Africa, has praised the efforts done by all parties who ensured the completion of the job and considered this step as a successful start of a strong relationship among the International Hospital Federation, e-TQM College and Health Management.
"We are confident that the program will acquire a high regional interest from the Middle East and North Africa since the region is doing a great effort to develop its health and medical capabilities in addition to the development of Information Technology that can support the development of health, information and economy in the region," he affirmed.
