GAMCO receives first two A320 from AIR DECCAN

GAMCO, Gulf Aircraft Maintenance Company, the Middle East based leading aircraft, engines & components maintenance, repair, overhaul and technical support services provider, has recently completed 'C' Check maintenance and modification work on two A320 Airbus aircraft operated by AIR DECCAN, India's first low cost carrier.

The Air Deccan's Technical Representative who accompanied the aircraft said, "GAMCO team has delivered an exceptional job and we are pleased with the quality, workmanship, and efforts put towards this input. All maintenance and support departments involved, have proved to us that GAMCO were the right maintenance partner for Air Deccan."

GAMCO's General Manager Saif Al Mughairy said, "We are very happy to welcome another Indian operator to our facility. We greatly appreciate the trust Air Deccan is placing in us; and will continue to work with them to ensure that they get the service levels needed to support their operation."

Air Deccan is India's fastest growing airline and the 2nd largest airline in the country, formed in 1995 with a market share of 21.2 % (June 2006). Air Deccan has the largest network in India today covering 55 airports, flying 270 flights a day.
