Ticket sales bouyant for Dubai Football Challenge

Tickets for the UAE's exciting new football challenge - The Dubai Football Challenge 2007 - are expected to sell fast since going on sale one week ago.

The Tournament is being held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Sports Council, and is being organised by the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), Dubai Sports City and IEP Sports and Leisure (IEP).

Tickets for the tournament are available through the Time Out Tickets toll-free hotline 800 4669 and on-line at www.timeouttickets.com . In addition local football fans can purchase tickets at selected Adidas stores from 31 December around the UAE.

Football fans in the UAE and beyond can expect to be entertained by two days of thrilling live football played at the highest professional levels when the Dubai Football Challenge kicks off on January 8 at Al Nasr Club. The opening day will see German greats Hamburg SV playing against the Iranian national team at 5pm followed by the UAE national team against Vfb Stuttgart at 7.30pm.

The culmination of the Tournament on January 10 will feature Iran playing Vfb Stuttgart (5pm) and the UAE taking on Hamburg (7.30pm).
