Taxi racket to Global Village

Illegal taxi drivers in Dubai are currently operating a service from labour camp accommodation at Sonapur to Global Village, charging passengers Dhs10 per head for the journey, reported Gulf News. No public buses run from the labour camp area to Global Village and unlicensed cab drivers are making around Dhs100 an hour ferrying workers at weekends.
