New Year cruise blues in Dubai

More than 200 holidaymakers have seen their New Year plans ruined following the last minute cancellation of a three day cruise from Dubai's Port Rashid, reported Gulf News. The passengers, who each paid up to Dhs1,950 per ticket, arrived at the terminal at 5am and waited for several hours until a 'technical fault' with the Greek-operated ship, the Dream Princess, brought about the cancellation. Passengers will receive full refunds.
