No spaceport for Bahrain

The UK's Virgin Galactic has denied it is considering setting up a spaceport in Bahrain, reported TradeArabia citing the Gulf Daily News. The firm, which is to offer suborbital flights at $200,000 a ticket from 2008, said it is concentrating on developing Spaceport America in New Mexico and is also eyeing locations in Sweden and Scotland.
