GAPCORP enters into agreement for extended warranty with major Chinese automakers

Recognized regionally as the largest extended warranty player, Saudi based GAPCORP today officially signed an agreement to provide three major Chinese automakers with extended warranty solutions.

In only it's sixth year of operations, the Saudi based company managed to quickly established its presence in every major market in the world making it a leading player in the extended warranty services industry.

Speaking more on this agreement, Mr. Nasser Watar, Chairman and CEO of GAPCORP said, 'Today marks a very important stage in the young history of our company. Our Agreement with the Chinese Auto Manufacturers and presence in China, South East Asia, the Middle East and North Africa gives us access to some of the fastest growing markets in the world.'

'Few people thought that we would be able to cover every major market in the world given the fierce competition in those respective markets and the fact that we were originated from Saudi Arabia. I think that at this point, it's safe to say that we are now Global but at the same time Local', concluded Mr. Watar.

GAPCORP also launched its (F&I) Finance & Insurance platform scheme a mechanism that provides auto dealers with a platform to manage the needs of their customer by creating a Finance and Insurance department. The scheme aims to increase bottom line income to the dealer, improve retention and to provide customers with a one stop shop for all their automotive needs.

GAPCORP already have a joint venture with Zuellig Group, one of the largest privately held companies in South East Asia covering Thailand, Philippines, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Indonesia under Asia Warranty Services and in the Gulf Council Countries under GAPGULF and in Europe through its European arm Euro Warranty.

GAPCORP also recently signed agreements with US based Warrantech and MEXbirt to tackle the North American and Latin American markets.

The Company's list of clients include BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, Toyota, Nissan, Infiniti, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Orix, HSBC, Standard Chartered and many more.
