"Egypt Yellow Pages Ltd. is delighted to enhance their value proposition by connecting buyers and sellers in both Arabic and English through Nokia Mobile Search"
said Marc Lambert, Managing Director of Egypt Yellow Pages. "It is exciting to know that through this initiative, consumers and business people all over the world will have a new access point to doing business with Egypt"
"You can get lost in many parts of the world now, but connect to Mobile Search and you're soon on the way to your destination, whether it's a restaurant, business or other local destination. We're thrilled to be adding so many new local search providers to our Mobile Search offering, it certainly reinforces our dedication to provide local Internet services directly to your pocket," said Neil Gordon, General Manager, Middle East Africa, Multimedia, Nokia.
Mobile Search has already seen a tremendous increase in users across Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom, the markets where Mobile Search was initially launched. The addition of Egypt Yellow Pages will more than likely have a similar effect in the Middle East region. The UAE Yellow Pages search plugin was officially launched at this year's Gitex 2006 event in Dubai and the Saudi Arabia Yellow Pages search plugin launched simultaneously with Egypt.
Mobile Search is available in select markets in the standard sales packs of the Nokia N80 Internet Edition, Nokia N80, Nokia N73, Nokia N93, Nokia N70, Nokia N71, Nokia N72, Nokia 6630, Nokia 6680, and Nokia 6681. It is also offered as a free download for more selected Nokia S60 ("smart phones") devices from www.nokia.com/mobilesearch.
