Jordan gas cylinder crisis

Jordan's National Society for Consumer Protection has called on the government to take action following a major shortage in gas filled cylinders across the country, reported the Jordan Times. The NSCP has blamed the Jordan Petroleum Refinery Company for scaling back production while the kingdom has been beset by cold weather during recent weeks. The NSCP claims the JPRC has cut production from around 170,000 cylinders a day to 60,000.
