"Ras Al Khaimah is the UAE's most favoured weekend getaway destination offering a Riviera feel. With a burgeoning tourist sector, the emirate is one of the region's most talked about hot spots," said Mohab Ghali, the resort's General Manager.
"We are pleased to introduce our resort at a time when the emirate is undergoing ambitious development. The resort will envelop visitors with an overwhelming sense of luxury; enviable beach privacy, exclusive treatment and superlative resort facilities are just a few of the many luxuries that make this a complete world-class getaway experience."
The new resort is set in a private bay and surrounded by the beautiful white sands of the UAE's most northern emirate. With tradition in mind, the Worldwide Resort represents an Arabesque design, providing visitors with a sense of Arabian culture.
In March 2007, a spectacular 2,000 square metre sea-facing spa will open with nine treatment rooms, hairdressing salon, sauna, Jacuzzi, Turkish Hammam Bath and spacious steam, fitness, aerobics and relaxation rooms.
On completion in 2008, the property will provide a further 330 rooms, all with terraces or balconies overlooking the Arabian sea. Ensuring an idyllic holiday destination and experience, each room will offer the best of amenities.
On-site facilities for the resort will include four free-form, temperature controlled swimming pools, comprehensive water sports facilities, fully equipped gym and health club, laundry and valet, car rental, tour guides on hand, business centre and shopping arcade.
The Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Resort & Spa complements Ras Al Khaimah's existing Hilton property, the 227-room Hilton Ras Al Khaimah and Beach Club.
Hilton is expanding its presence in Dubai with the region's first Conrad hotel opening in 2008, Hilton Jumeirah Beach Residence in September 2007 and Hilton Dubai Beach Club in January 2008. The company's development pipeline extends to Doha and Kuwait, with openings in 2008.
