Patrick Lelorieux, Linksys Vice President - EMEA, David John Kelly, Linksys Sales Director - EMEA and Mohammed Meraj Hoda, Linksys Regional Manager - MEA presented the award to Tech Data recognizing them as the Best Regional Distributor. Nabil Sheikh - Linksys Product Marketing Specialist at Tech Data was also recognised for Sales Excellence by Linksys at the event.
This was the second year in a row that Tech Data was recognised as the best Regional Distributor by Linksys. "Being recognised as the best amongst distributors across the region is an achievement we are certainly proud of", said Sanjiv Mehrotra, Sales Director Tech Data. "However the credit goes to our channel partners who have helped us achieve this milestone. We have been recipients of the Best Regional Distributor award for the last few years and this goes to show that the focus and level of engagement Tech Data's Linksys team enjoys with the channel is indeed second to none."
Mohammed Meraj Hoda, Linksys' Regional Manager Middle East & Africa added "Linksys' growth in MEA in the past three years has been outstanding and the vital role that Tech Data has played in this success story is undeniably significant. The Best Regional Distributor Award is in recognition of this very performance and contribution they have made towards our business."
Azlan, Tech Data's value added distribution sales channel, has recorded an impressive year-on-year growth of around 40% in the Linksys business.
