The results at the end of the second quarter are all the more creditable for Masafi as it was achieved at a time when the bottled water industry was generally experiencing sluggish growth. The 8 percent increase saw market leader Masafi selling an additional 3.6 million litres of bottled mineral water by the end of the second quarter, over and above the sales achieved during the same period in 2001.

Masafi has been the market leader for the past 25 years in the mineral water business in the UAE and GCC states. The company aims to enhance its market leadership by continuously enhancing the excellence of its wide range of products through its commitment to innovation and providing safe and healthy drinking water.
