Opec may cut expansion plans

Opec members could cancel plans to expand production capacity if crude prices continue to fall, Kuwait's oil minister Ali Jarrah al-Sabah told Bloomberg. An estimated $100bn worth of projects are planned by member countries to help meet increased demand. The group might call a special meeting to discuss recent price falls, said Venezuelan Energy and Oil Minister Rafael Ramirez.
