Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea scoop's Resort of the Year Awards

Following a rousing debut that saw the Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea recording high occupancy rates within months of its unveiling, the region's newest resort paradise achieved another major feat when it was declared Jordan's Resort of the Year in the 2nd Annual Grumpy Gourmet Awards.

"This is a great honour, given the first-rate quality of the competition. The hotel's Executive Chef, Jeffrey Vella, was also a finalist in the Chef of the Year category. "It is interesting to note that Grumpy Gourmet does not accept nominations. With a tough panel of critics, consisting of two ex-Michelin and two professional diners, Grumpy Gourmet conducts the reviews of all restaurants and hotels in Jordan. And they do the review at least twice! So just to be considered a finalist is a great accomplishment. and we are confident of being nominated again next year." continued Vella.
