The exhibitions will feature the latest technology while simultaneously offering an interactive platform for key industry players.

Arabplast and Tekno/Tube Arabia 2007, the two leading exhibitions in their eighth edition are bringing together 785 exhibitors from over 35 countries who will converge to familiarize themselves with the latest industry developments. The overwhelming registration from exhibitors is a confirmation that Middle East today is a region of robust projects.

'The exhibitions have over the years successfully offered exhibitors an opportunity to penetrate new Middle East and African markets with novel innovative products. The Middle East market is a vibrant market where all areas of technology, tubes, plastics, industrial machinery and metals are being used in a vast number of applications,' said Satish Khanna, General Manager of Al Fajer Information & Services, the organisers.

Arabplast and Tekno/Tube Arabia 2007 will offer visitors access to a wide spectrum of technological innovations in the plastics, packaging, rubber, chemical and polymer and petrochemical, tubes and pipes, industrial machinery & machine tools, metal working machinery and welding machinery industries.

'Exhibitors from all over the world will be looking to build business relations with exhibitors and trade visitors from the Middle East in an effort to widen their scope of business,' said Ms Gabriele Schreiber, Project Manager Messe Duesseldorf GmbH, one of the leading trade fair organizers in Germany, and organizer of 'K' and Tube Düsseldorf, the leading global events in their industries.

Messe Dusseldorf GmbH for the second year have teamed up with Al Fajer for Arabplast and first time for Tekno/Tube Arabia 2007 in facilitating support from exhibiting companies from Europe, North and South America, Russia, Ukraine, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, New Zealand, Australia and South Africa.

The German Federal Ministry of Economics has approved official German Group Participations for both exhibitions. These national pavillions are supported by the German Engineering Federation (VDMA).

The International Tube Association, the global industry's largest membership organization for tube and pipe engineers will be present at Tekno/Tube Arabia with a group stand as well with an information booth.

Another interesting feature at Tekno/Tube Arabia 2007: Used machinery. For the very first time the FDM (Association for Germany's Engineering Plant and Wholesaling Industry) and nearly 30 member companies are participating in this years event.

The exhibitions will also see new exhibitors from UK, Cyprus, Lebanon, Russia and Kenya. Among the new elements of the upcoming exhibition is the Arabplast summit, which will facilitate an exchange of knowledge amongst the exhibitors, and aims to offer a platform for meaningful networking amongst the attendees.

Buyers and suppliers will not be left out during the events as the demand for plastics/rubber, industrial machinery tubes & pipes in the region are constantly growing because the regions' economic activities continue to expand.

The shows will open from 11.30 am to 7.30 pm on the first 3 days and 11.30 am to 5.30 pm for the last day at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre. Entry is free on registration.
