- Oman: Saturday, January 13 - 2007 at 15:20
- PRESS RELEASE
Sama Dubai, the international real estate investment and development arm of Dubai Holding, will exhibit its US $1 billion 'Salam Resort & Spa - Yiti' development at the International Property Exhibition to be held in Muscat, from 16 - 18 January at the Oman International Exhibition Centre.
Farhan Faraidooni, CEO, Sama Dubai said: "This specialized real estate exhibition will give us the opportunity to debut the 'Salam' brand in the Sultanate of Oman"
"The real estate market in Oman has changed rapidly over the last year, and is expected to gain further momentum in the short to medium term. We believe that the future of the Omani real estate market looks bright underpinned by strong macroeconomic conditions, high liquidity, favourable demographics, and a proactive government."
Set to be completed in mid-2009, 'Salam Resort & Spa - Yiti' will be a beachfront property set against the impressive mountain range with stunning views of the Gulf of Oman.
Spread over a vast premium area of 3.7 square kilometres, the 'Salam Resort & Spa - Yiti' will harness the beauty of the region, offering long stretches of beach and spectacular views. Its architecture, inspired by the Omani lifestyle, remains true to the traditions and culture of the region. The mountain and beach club setting is designed to bring a luxurious and sophisticated environment to guests seeking a retreat. The resort aims to attract international and regional tourists as well as second-home owners in search of tranquillity, wellness and relaxation.
The International Property Exhibition is the ideal forum to meet with serious buyers and conclude one-to-one deals with investment professionals. It will also enable exhibitors and visitors to build new and strengthen existing relationships with international agents and developers.
"The International Property Exhibition is an important gateway that will allow us to share Dubai's evolutionary real estate achievements with the region and the world," added Faraidooni.
Sama Dubai intends to establish 'Salam' as one of the finest integrated, luxury resort brands in the world. Each development will capture the natural beauty of the area in which it is built. Each resort will have a unique theme tailored to the needs of a highly demanding tourism market. Although different in their offerings, each Salam property will reflect the culture and heritage of its host country. All resorts will occupy a prime location and offer world-class 7-star service throughout the comprehensive range of facilities.
