Qatar unaware of Opec meet

Qatar's oil minister says he is unaware of plans for an emergency Opec meeting over a 15% drop in oil prices since the start of the year, Reuters reported. A senior Opec delegate was earlier quoted as saying by the Dow Jones news service that the group was discussing whether to meet around 20-21 January.
