Visitors to the Golf Zone will receive free golf lessons from PGA-qualified professionals and then, using the latest technology, have their swing recorded on a N93 Nokia mobile phone camera and emailed directly to them. The phone itself has built-in golf specific functionality, including Pro Session Golf software and a specialised viewfinder.

The Golf Zone's professionals will select the best twenty students per day and present them with complimentary passes to this weekend's Abu Dhabi Golf Championship

"We have used our platinum sponsorship of the Abu Dhabi Gold Championships as a spring board to encourage the people of Abu Dhabi to take up golf," explained Jeremy Parrish, CEO, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, Standard Chartered.

"The Golf Zone gives potential golfers the chance to try their hand and also receive excellent tuition using the very latest technology."

The Standard Chartered Golf Zone is on the ground floor of Marina Mall and is running until Tuesday 16th January, open from 12 noon until 10pm daily.
