The sites, to be developed in the Madinat Jumeirah at the Mina Salam Hotel, Souk Madinat and Qasr, represent Digiphoto's portfolio expansion directed at encompassing many of the leading tourist and leisure destinations in the emirate.

Digiphoto's existing site at Wild Wadi generated world record revenues in 2006 and is recognized as the highest performing water park imaging site in the world. Other Digiphoto sites are located at Ski Dubai, Bab Al Shams, Jumeirah Beach Hotel and the Arabian Adventure desert safaris in Dubai, in addition to the Sentosa Island and the Night Safari in Singapore.

Digiphoto's business model looks to extend the content value of iconic tourist attractions in Dubai while generating added value for visitors through their highest quality imaging service that captures unforgettable memories of their visit. The partner site not only gets the advantage of increased awareness of their attraction, but also shares in the imaging revenues generated from the program. The technology involved is Kodak's highly advanced EPX imaging platform that enables a professional team of trained photographers to capture the best possible images that guest could not capture themselves.

As the region's entertainment industry continues to expand, Digiphoto satisfies market demand for personalized and professional imaging services and dispenses with traditional concepts of disposable cameras and film shops. This digital platform provides a new way to impress the guest while offering a powerful marketing tool for the host site to promote its attraction.

Commenting on the expansion, K.S. Ramakrishnan, Director, Digiphoto EIS said, "Digiphoto's expansion will help to consolidate Madinat Jumeirah's credentials as a first class tourist destination, by providing unique services that cater to the guest's unforgettable visit. With extended services such as the online imaging program which allows imaging purchases and real time sharing with friends and family across the globe, we feel that entertainment imaging is here to stay and we are delighted on developing this opportunity to a successful partnership with the Madinat Jumeirah."
