Opec to wait on cuts

Opec will assess the affect its 1.7m supply cuts have on prices before deciding whether to make further reductions; but the market is still substantially over supplied, according to Nigeria's oil minister Edmund Daukoru, quoted in The Financial Express. Oil prices have fallen around 15% this year, but Daukoru said an emergency meeting before a scheduled one in March is unlikely.
