The world number one and defending champion, Tiger Woods, will spearhead the classy field for the European PGA Tour event, often referred to as the jewel in the crown of the early-season events.

As part of the partnership agreement, CNN International will produce and broadcast commercials in the run up to the tournament, promoting the Dubai Desert Classic to millions of homes worldwide. CNN will also film a special edition of its monthly programme 'Living Golf' from the annual tournament. It will also produce and broadcast commercials promoting golf in DUBAI and its Partners throughout the year.
