Safir Deira-Dubai targets Qatari market

Safir's new five star boutique hotel property opened in Deira-Dubai, UAE, has launched an integrated marketing campaign targeting visitors from Qatar in a sign of the growing importance of the Qatari market to inter-GCC tourism.

"Qatar represents an important segment of GCC tourism to the UAE and its tourists are high net worth individuals, as such, we at Safir Deira-Dubai are launching a special marketing campaign for Qatari visitors to Dubai whether business or family leisure travelers," noted Maagid El Saarany, General Manager of the Hotel.

El Saarany a veteran of the international hotel industry has implemented a plan to target visitors from Qatar with the hotels unique service qualities such as personal European style butler service, children's swimming pool and Jacuzzi, in room computer connection, alcohol free catering and open buffet with waiter service for families.

"We have launched our Qatar campaign to cover both the Eid Ul Fitr and New Year holiday periods with special rates for tourists from Doha," added Saarany.

Safir Hotels have properties across the Middle East and Europe, and its management have vast experience gained in managing luxury and first class hotels, resorts and tourism development projects internationally.

El Saarany also brings international experience to Dubai with him, having worked in the UK as general manager for Le Meridien there, as well as in four of the group's large London properties including the Strand Palace, Le Meridien Excelsior and the Cumberland.
