Today, Alfardan Group has strategically expanded its business organisation and structure and devoted the all new "Alfardan Premier Motors" business unit as part of its commitment to continuously upgrade the prime lines of services provided by the Group.
The decision of introducing Alfardan Premier Motors came as a result of the Group's in-depth automotive market research in order to maintain industry best practices, unparalleled and first-class services worthy of its high net customer base, and to accommodate additional business growth.
Land Rover's esteemed SUV brand has witnessed an unprecedented growth in sales over the past three years, as well as performance records and award recognition.
Mr Omar Alfardan, President of Alfardan Group, commented on the move saying:
"We deeply believe that this is the right time to have Alfardan Premier Motors as The Group's new business unit for our Land Rover brand as the business has exponentially flourished over the last three years. We have witnessed an increase in sales rate unlike no other, an increase that has been constantly proven by the awards we have been presented with, among which are the two most recent awards we have won during the 2006 Middle East Business Conference held in Spain. The awards recognise Alfardan's achievement of attaining the highest number of Range Rover sales per capita in the Gulf in the current year as well as the company's highest marketing effectiveness."
Mr Alfardan also said: "We, at Alfardan Automobiles, have always strived to achieve the best performance possible in terms of customer service and brand recognition and in order for us to do that, we need the flexibility in strategy and implementation. This year has been particularly special for Alfardan as we have celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Group.
'In addition, the Land Rover annual sales volume has more than tripled over the last three years in Qatar, reinforcing the success of the brand and its strong presence in this market, which is the fastest growing for Land Rover in the region. This growth in business has led us to dedicate a fully-fledged operation and team with the sole aim of taking care of the brand."
The distinguished SUV brand has witnessed exceptional growth in the past three years: It accomplished a 45% increase in sales in the year 2004. In 2005, Land Rover gained two awards, being adjudged as "Best Performer" in the Middle East North Africa region for achieving fastest sales growth in Land Rover and service standards. The same year has also been marked with a 68% increase in sales in Qatar surpassing the 21% regional sales rate. The year 2006 was another paramount achievement for the brand with a 57% increase in sales over last year's rate.
Mr Mohamed Kandeel, Director of Sales and Marketing in Alfardan Premier Motors expressed his pride and happiness saying: "We have the strongest product line-up in Land Rover portfolio and a sales growth that is exceeding all expectations year after year. This move was the logical step to make in order to boost this history of growth in Qatar and in the region. Alfardan Group recently significantly expanded its team of After Sales experts exclusively, for Land Rover and in July 2006 opened a new, dedicated, state-of-the-art workshop facility costing $5 million. The inaugural event was attended by Mr Phil Popham, Land Rover Global Managing Director. This major investment ensures the highest level of customer care and service.
