HP Middle-East were the proud sponsors of the recently concluded UAE Print Award 2006, organized by the Printing & Publishing Group of Dubai's Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Amr Hassan, General Manager, Imaging and Printing Group, HP Middle East, said: "We are delighted to sponsor this event. HP is transforming the experiences of printing establishments and prepress professionals around the world and as a market leader is always looking at ways to promote qualitative and creative work. With this partnership, we hope to further the development of the printing industry in the UAE."
The UAE Print Awards 2006 were given to winners in 13 different categories. This included the Best printing of flyers, Best production of POP materials and posters, Best printing of magazines, Best printing/production of books, Best printing of annual reports, Best printing/production of greeting cards, Best printing/production of 12 calendar pages, Best printing of brochures and catalogues, Best printing of directories, Best printing/production of boxes, Best printing/production of trays, Best printing of daily/weekly newspapers and the Innovation Award based on uniqueness and creativity.
The evaluation of the products for each category was based on certain criteria such as the print quality, finishing quality, job complexity and job creativity.
