Confirmation of his participation was received by the Iraq Development Program on Monday, with a formal letter provided by the Ministry. The letter also confirmed that The Minister would be attending the summit with a team of expert specialists in Education and Information Technology.
This significant development in preparations for the ICTE Summit comes a week after formal notification was received from the Iraqi Ministry of Communications that His Excellency Mohammed Tawfiq Allawi, Minister of Communications, would be attending the summit.
Both officials will be attending to speak about their ministries' requirements for their relevant sectors in front of an audience of senior corporate executives, before holding private consultations with some of the pre-eminent operators in the ICT and education sectors.

Iraqi Minister of Higher Education & Scientific Research His Excellency Abed Theyab has formally confirmed his participation at the forthcoming Iraq Information, Communication, Technology & Education Summit (ICTE) in the UAE on 27-28 February 2006.
