The official opening at 12pm by Abdul Latif Al Mulla, TECOM CEO, will be attended by Jamal Abdul Salam, Executive Director, DIC, Saeed Al Nabouda, DSF CEO and Ibrahim Saleh, DSF COO. DIC's CyberFest extravaganza is in line with the central theme of Dubai Shopping Festival of One World, One Family, One Festival offering the flavours of the world with a dash of entertainment.
The CyberFest platter offers an enriching fare of live bands and competitions with great prizes to be won while the participating restaurants present an extensive spread from across the globe. From the Oriental delicacies to traditional Arabic fare it's all there. To run until January 25, 2007 the shows and food will be served daily from 11am to 3pm.
Opening with Arabic performances of dance and music featuring Arabic DJ, the show is an absolute must-attend for all foodies looking for good food and quality entertainment. the inaugural day will also feature street performers including jugglers, circus, Long Guyz and musicians. January 22 will feature Tannoura dancing performances, Kenyan dancers and street performances. January 23 will showcase street performances and Kenyan dances. Enjoy Tannoura dances, street performances and Russian shows on January 24 and January 25.
Co-sponsored by Canon the CyberFest features Asia Exchange, 1.618, Bake Mart, Café Ceramique, Fiesta, Fushi, Fresh, Lavinia, Gazebo, Fiesta, Maria Bonita, XL Restaurant and Metrofile.
The combined edition of DSF 2006-2007 will run from December 20, 2006 to February 2, 2007. The 45 days of family fun, entertainment and shopping frenzy will offer retrospective glimpses of the 10 previous editions combining the best of the best and promises to be even bigger and better.
