Hasif Hijazi appointed General Manager of the Petra Marriott Hotel

Hasif brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his new position. He has 20 years of international experience with Marriott Hotels & Resorts, successfully holding a number of Executive positions in Operations and Human Resources at a number of key hotels in Amman, New York, and Texas.

In October 2003, Hasif decided to return home from New York to join the Jordan Valley Marriott Resort & Spa as the Director of Rooms Operations. Among his many accomplishments was receiving the Rooms Operations Awards of Excellence for the UK, Ireland and the Middle East region twice, as well as being recognized as the region's most improved property in Overall Guest Satisfaction and Problem Experience.
