ITIDA makes the regional approach its No. 1 priority

Under the auspices of H.E Dr. Tarek Kamel, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Cairo ICT Fair 2007 will kick start from 4th-7th February with Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) as one of the main sponsors of the prestigious event.

Cairo ICT includes halls for communication products and other halls designed for information Technology products while providing separate booths for selling different products. Cairo ICT reflects the Egyptian boom in the ICT field and provides a strong indication on the status of ICT companies in Egypt.

The fair is blessed with unequivocal governmental support which is evident in the presence of H.E Dr. Ahmed Nazif , the Prime Minister, and H.E. Dr. Tarek Kamel, Minister of Communications and Information Technology.

After celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2006, the sponsorship of Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) aims at expanding the role and scope of Cairo ICT to a regional dimension. ITIDA plans to invite 15 regional journalists and business analysts and 15 prospect buyers.

ITIDA will be also an active exhibitor in Cairo ICT with a special booth to inform the participants on the role of the agency as well as its activities and message aiming at developing the IT industry in Egypt.
