Bahrain's consumer watchdog

Bahrain has launched a task force to monitor the prices of food and basic household goods, Gulf Daily News reported. The new price control committee, which held its first meeting yesterday, will accompany its watchdog role with running awareness campaigns to help consumers shop around for cheaper alternatives.
