Aerovista Holidays revamps operations at new premises

Aerovista Group which has its mainstay in aircraft chartering and leasing under its airline subsidiary division - Aerovista Gulf Express - branched into travel in late 2005. After a brief stint at a corporate office in Sheikh Zayed Road, the travel and holidays division shifted base into its retail shop with a larger full fledged team. The travel division now has a team of 8 staff handling reservation and ticketing for corporate and retail clients, outbound holidays, inbound holidays, tours and excursions, and a range of other travel services.

"It's been a challenging period for us since we have had to build a fresh team of experienced professionals in a relatively short time to keep pace with the expansion of our travel division. Our present pool of consultants, who come from varied career backgrounds, offer us the experience to manage operations smoothly whilst bringing a fresh outlook to running a travel company in an intensely competitive market," says Apandi Lakhiyalov, President & CEO of Aerovista Group.

The new retail shop with its expansive area and warm décor caters well to walk-in clients who would like to discuss holiday options with the travel consultants in a comfortable ambience. "Our concentrated effort at present is to steer Aerovista Holidays retail outlet as a professional 'holiday shop' where customers can seek advice on where and when they should go on holiday. So rather than a push strategy where we plainly sell off-the-shelf airline packages, we aim to produce tailor-made packages for customers offering good value and excellent service," added Ansar Babu, Sales & Marketing Manager of Aerovista Holidays. "Working with a growing network of suppliers locally and internationally, we are in the process of building what will eventually be an enviable selection of operators for worldwide travel solutions," he said.

Aerovista Holidays also builds on the backing it receives from Aerovista Gulf Express, holder of UAE Air Operator Certificate (AOC), in serving customers with air charter solutions. The travel division offers clients charter flight options by acting as the sales intermediary for the airline division. Customers looking for transporting large number of passengers can make use of the Group's Boeing 737 fleet which offers safe and reliable charter and lease options in the Middle East, North Africa and CIS countries.

The next few months are expected to be vital for Aerovista Holidays since major resources are being invested on an aggressive marketing campaign to further boost sales volume during the peak summer months.

With an aim to gain innovation in further expansion of its range of services, Aerovista Holidays is seeking further opportunities to work with new customers by entering into strategic and structured alliances with different airlines and tour operators worldwide.
