The Jordanian team participates for the third time in Al Ain international event, while it is the second participation for Pakistan after its distinguished appearance at the 2005 session.

The Jordanian team won the title of teams' competition (pistons) at the previous session in 2006, and was the winner of the 2nd place at 'Al Ain Aerobatic Show 2005' outdoing many of the world's finest aerobatic teams. The team also won the Best International Show Award at Fairford Aerobatic Show in England twice, in 1995 and 2002.

The team displays in a 4-ship formation presenting a blend of both formation and solo aerobatic performances. They will perform on four Extra-300 aircraft, powered by a Textron Lycoming engine, which provides 300-horse power. The aircraft is manufactured in Germany and is considered as one of the best in the unlimited aerobatic class. The team was founded and established back in 1976 at the behest of His Majesty the late King Hussein Bin Talal (may God bless his soul). It was his Majesty's intention to promote the Jordanian Family, peace and friendship to the world through the art and science of aviation. Since 1976, the team has performed in many countries throughout the world, such as the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Indonesia, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Italy and many other European countries.

The Pakistani team will perform on 10 aircraft (eight of the type T37 and two of the type K8). Through this strong participation they are seeking to win the championship title or at least win the second or third place, especially that Pakistan has remarkable experience in the aerobatics field.
